【摘要】:Thistestmethodspecifiesaprocedurefortheconcurrentmeasurementofboththedynamicviscosity,,andthedensity,,ofliquidpetroleumproductsandcrudeoils,bothtransparentandopaque.Thekinematicviscosity,ny,canbeobtainedbydividingthedynamicviscosity,,bythedensity,,obtainedatthesametesttemperature.Theresultobtainedfromthistestmethodisdependentuponthebehaviorofthesampleandisintendedforapplicationtoliquidsforwhichprimarilytheshearstressandshearrateareproportional(Newtonianflowbehavior).Whiletheprecisionhasonlybeendeterminedforbaseoilsintheviscosityrangefrom2.05to456mPasat40?Candfrom0.83to31.6mPasat100?Candinthedensityrangefrom0.82to0.92g/mLat15?C(see15.4),thetestmethodcanbeappliedtoawiderrangeofmaterials,viscosity,density,andtemperature.FormaterialsnotlistedinPrecisionandBias(Section15),theprecisionandbiasmaynotbeapplicable.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.Theacceptedunitsofmeasurefordensityaregramspermillilitre(g/mL)orkilogramspercubicmetre(kg/m).Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesandtodeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
