【摘要】:Thistestmethodaffordsameansofestimatingthebedmoistureofeithercoalthatiswetandshowsvisiblesurfacemoistureorcoalthatmayhavelostsomemoisture.Itmaybeusedforestimatingthesurface,orextraneousmoistureofwetcoal,suchmoisturebeingthedifferencebetweenthetotalmoistureasdeterminedbyTestMethodD3302andtheequilibriummoisture.WhensamplesarecollectedinconformitywithClassificationD388,theequilibriummoistureisconsideredtobeequaltobedmoisturewiththeexceptionofsomelowrankcoalsthatyieldequilibriummoisturevaluesbelowbedmoisture.3.3Theresultsobtainedbythistestmethodaresensitivetomanyinfluences,andtherefore,raw(uncorrected)equilibriummoisturedatamaybeoflimitedvalueinandofthemselves.Whenworkingwithlowrankcoals,theresultsyieldedbythistestmethodrequirecriticalassessments.ItisrecommendedthattheprocedureoutlinedintheAppendixX1beapplied,andtheresultscorrectedbeforeuseinsituationswhereamorereliableestimationinherentorbedmoistureforlowrankcoalsisrequired.TheAppendixalsoprovidesusefulqualityassuranceinformationwhichisapplicabletocoalsofallranks.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationoftheequilibriummoistureofcoalinanatmosphereoverasaturatedsolutionofpotassiumsulfateat30C.Note1Forinformationconcerningtheexperimentalworkonwhichthistestmethodisbased,see().1.2si-value;Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
